Graduating from University of Maryland in 2014, I embarked on my medical career as a neonatologist, driven by a profound commitment to improving the health of our youngest patients. My journey began in Medellín, Colombia, where I earned my medical degree from Universidad de Antioquia in 2002. Following that, I completed my pediatrics residency at Elmhurst Hospital-Mt Sinai in New York from 2008 to 2011, gaining invaluable experience in a diverse and demanding environment.

While my primary focus has been on neonatology, my passion for trichology and cosmetics has flourished over the years. What began as a hobby has evolved into a professional pursuit. Three years ago, I became a partner at Belleza Integral Miami, a center dedicated to addressing hair loss problems through a range of treatments, including diagnostics, RPR exosomes, and mesotherapy and much more. This role has allowed me to deepen my expertise in the trichology field, as I strive to offer the best possible care and options for my patients.

My quest for excellence led me to the World Trichology Society (WTS), where I received official certification as a trichologist. This experience not only equipped me with invaluable knowledge but also opened doors to remarkable opportunities, including an invitation to the prestigious technology congress in London this year. The insights gained and connections made at this event have profoundly influenced my practice and reignited my dedication to continuous improvement in the field of trichology.

As I look to the future, I am determined to further my expertise and aspire to become a hair restoration specialist. I am excited about the journey ahead and committed to enhancing the lives of my patients through innovative and effective treatments.
